Hi, I’m Diane, a 55-year-old married retail general manager living in sunny California. This is my story, and I hope it encourages you to start slimming down, get healthier, and be stronger too.

I used to be the kind of person who started each day full of life and juggled work and family, savoring time with friends, and going to bed feeling fulfilled.

But somewhere along the way, things changed.

The long hours, constant responsibilities, and quiet stresses of life started catching up with me. I grabbed whatever was easiest to get through the day. Slowly, that added up, and my energy faded. My reflection in the mirror no longer felt familiar.

Even at work, I wasn’t myself. I avoided stairs, always parked as close as possible, and often relied on others to pick up the physical slack. I’d given up on hobbies I loved, and more than anything, I missed feeling like… me.

That was my wake-up call.

Later that week, my daughter sat me down. “Mom,” she said, “I can tell you’ve been struggling and want to help. Try it for a few weeks, and you will see changes.”

She told me about a 6-second morning ritual she’d been doing. It wasn’t a complicated program or a strict regimen—just a simple addition to her mornings that had worked wonders for her.

I was hesitant. After all, how could something so small make a difference? But I decided to try. I had nothing to lose.

 

I started the very next morning… and everything began to change.

The first thing I noticed was how much lighter I felt—not on the scale, but in my energy. Mornings weren’t as daunting. I didn’t feel drained before the day even started.

Within days, I started sleeping more soundly. The endless tossing and turning that had become normal for me seemed to fade away.

A few weeks in, I noticed I wasn’t reaching for snacks to stay awake during long shifts. My cravings disappeared, and I began enjoying balanced meals without guilt or overthinking.

And then, as time went on, the weight began to drop—steadily and naturally. My favorite jeans, the ones I’d hidden in the back of my closet, hug my curves again comfortably.

Even my hair and nails looked better. Small changes like that made me feel truly alive again.

 

Fast forward to today…

Down from 215 to 153, I'm finally feeling more like myself than I have in years. Every morning, I wake up excited for the day, stay energized and focused at work, and even spend weekends hiking with my daughter and nieces. Life feels good again!

The best part? My mornings now include a simple habit that feels as natural as brushing my teeth. It’s not a chore—I look forward to it because it reminds me of how far I’ve come.

When my doctor saw my progress, she smiled and said, whatever you’re doing, keep it up.” That moment, I felt so proud—not just because of my look, but because I’d found a way to care for myself again.

I could even fit into my jeans I bought last summer ( All Smiles)

My appetite is under control now, with minimum cravings, which is so satisfying
